Omoto, Kowada Lead Warriors to Third Place Finish in Rancho Mirage

El Camino College tied its best showing of the season with a third place finish at the PCAC No. 9 hosted by College of the Desert Wednesday afternoon at The "S" Golf Course at Rancho Mirage.

Quentyn Kowada and Ryan Omoto each posted a top-10 finish as they tied for sixth place with a 5-over 77. The duo helped the Warriors record their best team score of the season, posting a 46-over 406 to finish third, eight strokes better than Mt. San Jacinto and 10 strokes better than Cuyamaca.

Joshua Palmer and Lucas Ursich each posted a top-20 finish with Palmer tying for 17th with an 11-over 83 while Ursich finished in 20th by himself with a 12-over 84.

Bryce Hawkins rounded out the team scoring with a 13-over 85 to finish tied for 21st.

The Warriors will finish off the regular season on Monday, April 22 in the PCAC No. 10 at Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills, Calif. at noon.
