Brandlin Has Solid Outing as Warriors Finish Fourth

Steven Brandlin posted the third best score by an El Camino College golfer this season as the Warriors posted a fourth-place finish at the PCAC Neutral No. 9 held at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, Calif.

Brandlin finished tied for 11th overall after carding a 7-over 79 on a very windy day at the golf course. It was tied for the third best score by a Warriors golfer this season. He finished seven shots back of Palomar's Kyoshiro Azumada and Patrick Gorman, who shared medalist honors.

Overall, the Warriors finished in fourth place, 12 strokes better than Cuyamaca. Palomar scored the victory with a 15-over 375 while College of the Desert placed second with a 27-over 387. Mount San Jacinto placed third with a 398.

The Warriors are back in action Wednesday in the PCAC Neutral no. 10 at the Golf Club at Rancho California in Murrieta, Calif.
