Golf Places 14th Out of 19 Schools At SoCal Preview

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - The Warriors took part in the SoCal Preview at the El Camino Country Club. Out of the 19 schools which participated, the Warriors placed 14th with a total score of 419.

"I was proud of their effort as we managed to score better than a number of quality opponents despite the fact that we were short handed and had to deal with some very fast greens," shared Assistant Coach Christopher Chin. "Hopefully this tournament was a confidence booster for us and can propel us towards a strong finish"

Sophomore Theodore Giapapas and freshman Ryan Omoto both led the Warriors, each shooting 79. Sophomore Greg White followed closely, shooting a total of 83, while freshman Matthew Rico and sophomore Jerred Gallardo both ended the day with 89.

The team travels to the Gary Player Signature Course in Rancho Mirage for a PCAC Neutral event on Wednesday, March 22nd.
