TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 77-53 loss to visiting Pasadena City on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The teams were locked in a tight matchup until the Lancers mounted a 20-0 run in a 5:01 span in the second half to turn the game into a blowout.
Billy Ray Barnes III and Shamar Carter led the Warriors with 10 points apiece but were both held scoreless in a rough second half for the Warriors as a team.
In the final 20 minutes, the Warriors committed 13 of their 22 turnovers and were outscored 43-17 overall after leading 36-34 at halftime.
For the Lancers, Dylan Swillis led the way with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists while Deen Abdur-Rahmann added 20 points and six boards. Myles Watkins pitched in with 17 points and four steals with two blocks.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday night with a road contest at East Los Angeles scheduled for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
