TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 73-66 South Coast Conference, South Division loss to visiting Cerritos on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors (12-11, 1-4) suffered their third straight conference loss and finished the first half of SCC play with a 1-4 record after the loss to the Falcons (16-7, 3-2).
Gabe Hubbard led the Warriors with a double-double, scoring 25 points with 12 rebounds and four assists, leading the team in all categories. Mo Cruz and Dwayne Moore each added 10 points in the losing effort.
For the Falcons, Everett May led the team with 18 points as he went 5-for-8 from 3-point range. Gordon Boykins added 12 points and six rebounds with Jalen Shores adding 11 and a team-high three assists.
The Warriors will tipoff the second half of conference play on Friday evening when they host L.A. Southwest for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
