TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College scored a 80-66 non-conference victory over Glendale on Thursday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
Five players scored in double figures for the Warriors (10-5) led by Gabe Hubbard's 23 points. Billy Ray Barnes III added 12 points off the bench with Dwyane Moore scoring 11 and Mo Cruz and Alexis Maria adding 10 apiece.
For the Vaqueros (6-8), Jarred Jones scored 16 to lead the team and Powell Mousaian added 11 with nine rebounds in the loss.
The Warriors trailed only once after the Vaqueros made the first basket of the game. The Warriors would take a 4-2 lead and never gave it up, leading by as much as 17 on Thursday. They dished out 16 assists on 32 made baskets with Moore leading the way with six dimes. The team shot 53.3 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from 3-point range.
The Warriors also scored 29 points off 17 Vaqueros turnovers and held a 40-28 advantage in the paint.
The Warriors will return to action on Jan. 4 with a home game against East Los Angeles. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
