LOS ANGELES, Calif. - El Camino College lost their fourth straight game to start South Coast Conference Division play in a 68-55 loss at LA Southwest on Friday evening.
The Warriors (5-17, 0-4) were only down by 4 points (26-to-22) at the half. However they were outscored 42-to-33 in the second half enroute to the loss.
The Warriors shot 39% (23-for-59) from the field compared to the Cougars 45.1% (23-for-51). The Cougars also scored 16 points on 16-24 shooting from the free throw line compared to the Warriors 7-12 shooting from the charity stripe.
Jamal Howard led the Warriors with 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting. Jamaal Logan led the Cougars with 15 points.
