TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College could not overcome a first-half hole and fell to visiting Compton College 92-83 in a South Coast Conference, South Division tilt Friday night at the ECC North Gym.

On sophomore night, it was the Warriors' honorees that led the way as Justin Chambers and Justin Reyes led the way in their final games as Warriors.

Reyes led the team with 25 points and went 7-for-15 from the field, hitting six of his shots from beyond the arc. Chambers added 21 points on 6-for-11 while Jamal Bogan was the only other ECC player in double figures with 11 points off the bench.

The Warriors outscored the Tartars 51-45 in the second half and trimmed a double-digit halftime deficit down to three points with under 10 minutes left.

But the game turned as Richard Wilson missed a close jumper that would've trimmed the deficit down to one. The Tartars would then draw a foul and hit two free throws to ignite a 7-0 scoring run and build the lead back to double-digits and the Warriors never recovered.

The Warriors finish the season with a 5-23 record overall and 1-9 mark in conference.
