El Camino College came up short Friday night with a 78-55 loss on the road at Citrus.
The Warriors were led by Jason Vazquez with 17 points off the bench while Justin Chambers added 12. For the Owls, Sam Gagliardi scored 23 points and Toby Okwuokei added 22 in the victory.
The Warriors were outscored by double digits in both halves and were outrebounded 36-25 for the game. They will return home Thursday for the Paul Landreaux Classic at the ECC North Gym.
