TORRANCE, Calif. – Troy Biglow led all scorers on Friday evening as El Camino College defeated Mount San Antonio 113-107 at the ECC North Gym.

Biglow poured in 30 points for the Warriors (4-7) in 21 minutes off the bench. He went 11-for-21 and 5-for-10 from 3-point range. He was one of five Warriors to score in double figures as ECC overcame a double-digit halftime deficit to score the victory.

Justin Chambers scored 18 points while Tristan Egans added 17. Ricky Bryant had a solid overall game with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

For the Mounties (3-8), Minfeke Sanoe led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Josiah Yarde also scored 18 points with seven rebounds and four assists.

The Warriors trailed 60-50 at halftime but held the Mounties to 45.2 percent shooting in the second half. The Warriors also caused 35 turnovers and turned those into 45 points. The team recorded 17 steals with Chambers snagging a game-high six steals.

With 5:28 left in the game, the Warriors had trimmed the deficit to just one at 94-93. After a pair of free throws from Darrell Williams, the Warriors mounted a 12-0 scoring run in 2:35 to take a nine-point lead. Reyes drilled a pair of threes in that span with Isiah Armstead and Biglow hitting a pair of baskets during the run.

It proved to be the difference as the Mounties could only trim the deficit down to three with the Warriors hitting their free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.

The Warriors will now hit the road next week to play in the Kirby Mannon Pepsi/Wyndham Hotel Tournament hosted by the College of the Sequoias. They will open the tournament on Friday, Dec. 15 against Fresno at 2 p.m.
