McCutcheon Earns All-American and All-State Honors; Long All-State

 2024 All Region and All-American Selections

TORRANCE, Calif. --- Freshmen Kaleb McCutcheon and Joshua Long each earned postseason recognition from the JC Athletic Bureau – California Community College Football Coaches' Association, it was announced Thursday.

McCutcheon was named a JC First Team All-American along with First Team All-California selection while Long was also named a First Team All-California selection.

McCutcheon played in 10 of the team's 11 games this season and was second on the team with 75 total tackles. He had two sacks and five tackles for a loss during the season. McCutcheon was also a First Team All-Northern League selection. He is the first Warriors player to earn All-American honors since Lando Brown in 2022. He is also the fourth Warriors player to be named an All-American under head coach Gifford Lindheim's tenure that began in 2016.

Long was third on the team with 25 catches and 318 receiving yards but led the entire team with six touchdowns. He was also a First Team All-Northern League selection.

The Warriors have now had 17 players selected to the All-State/All-Region team since Lindheim took the reigns of the program. They had three selections last season and have had more than one player selected each year since the 2018 season.

The Warriors finished the season with a 7-4 overall record and secured the program's first league title and playoff appearance since the 2018 season.
