ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif. --- El Camino College won its fifth consecutive game and stayed undefeated in National Northern League play with a 37-14 victory at Antelope Valley on Saturday afternoon at Marauder Stadium.
The Warriors spotted the Marauders an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter and then proceeded to score 37 straight points to win comfortably.
Tyler Karen went 18-for-24 for 162 yards and two touchdowns while Jaden Moore scored two touchdowns on the ground while rushing for 76 yards on 11 carries.
The Warriors offense had 32 first downs on the day while the defense held AVC to just nine first downs and 72 yards of total offense.
The defense also recorded a season-high seven sacks in the game with Thomas Liava'a leading the way with two. Overall the Warriors finished with 14 tackles for a loss.
Along with the win on Saturday, Ventura lost to Bakersfield to move the Warriors into sole possession of first place in the league.
The Warriors will now host Ventura with a chance to clinch the program's first league title and playoff berth since 2018 with a victory. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
