TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College made a few key mistakes and they proved to be the difference in a 55-45 National Northern League loss to Allan Hancock on Saturday evening at Featherstone Field in Murdock Stadium.

The Warriors got an excellent performance from quarterback Dayton Tafoya as he threw for 319 yards on 25-for-41 passing with four touchdowns while Joshua Lorick was the recipient of three of those TD passes en route to eight catches for 68 yards. But it was not enough as Bulldogs' running back Caden Harris ran all over the Warriors with 266 yards on 18 carries with three touchdowns.

As a team, the Bulldogs put up 407 rushing yards on 59 attempts, making up the bulk of their 562 yards of total offense. Quarterback Jackson Clavel completed 5-of-10 passes for just 86 yards but one of those was a 41-yard touchdown. In addition, AJ Vele also completed the only pass he attempted for a 61-yard touchdown, providing just enough through the air to support the run game and help the Bulldogs secure the win.

Frisco Lalau-Taoette led the Warriors defense with 10 tackles (4 solo) while Cohen Fuller added eight tackles in the loss.

The Warriors conclude the season with a 6-4 overall record and will await to find out if they will receive an invite to a bowl game for the sixth straight season.

Saturday's loss against the Bulldogs marks the third loss for the Warriors against AHC in seven all-time meetings. The last time the teams played was on Sept. 14, 2013 with the Warriors scoring a 51-27 win at home. The Bulldogs' 55 points are the most they have ever scored in a game against the Warriors, eclipsing their 41-35 win over ECC in the first ever meeting between the teams on Sept. 8, 2001 in Santa Maria.
