Football Suffers First Loss at Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- El Camino College wrapped up its non-conference schedule on Saturday with a 45-6 loss to Riverside at Wheelock Stadium.

The Warriors struggled to get anything going offensively as they were held to 235 total yards on 60 plays.

Cooper Dileva hit field goals from 36 yards and 23 yards to account for the Warriors scoring on the day.

Turnovers were a big factor as the Warriors had four fumbles on the day and lost three of them. They also threw an interception.

On defense, the Warriors were led by BJ Wagner, DJ Morgan and Cohen Fuller who all recorded nine tackles on the day. Fuller led the team with two tackles for a loss.

The Warriors will open National Northern League action on Saturday when they host Moorpark at Featherstone Field. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
