Bio
Marvin Flores joined the Warriors staff as an assistant coach in 2024 and enters his first season with the team in 2025.
Flores is a native of Torrance, Calif. and has been involved in baseball for more than a decade since his playing days at El Camino College and Marymount University.
In 2023, Flores was named head baseball coach for San Pedro High school and led the team to a CIF- LA City- Open Division quarter final appearance while producing numerous All-League
and All CIF-LA City selections.
In 2024 Flores was named Manager for the Expos in the ProAm league and led the team to a 22-11 overall record and an appearance in the championship series. Flores also coached for the Ventura county Pirates in the California Collegiate League in 2023.
After his playing career, made the transition to coaching at Marymount California University, where he coached from 2016-2019. During his time at Marymount he worked with the catchers and hitters. Shortly after the 2018 season, he was named the recruiting
coordinator for the baseball program. During his time at Marymount, the team had catchers that received All-Conference selections each season. After his time at Marymount, Flores went back to coach his at alma mater, Torrance High School. Flores was in charge of the
development of the catchers, scouting and working with hitters at the varsity level.
Flores played at El Camino College from 2011-12 under Nate Fernley. He played in 67 career games while with the Warriors. He would go on to earn a scholarship to play at Georgetown College, where he played one season. Flores would then transfer to Marymount University for his senior season where he was voted team captain and earned an All-Conference selection as a catcher.
Flores attended Torrance High School helped the Tartars reach the program's first CIF finals appearance in school history in 2009 and then returned back to the CIF finals the next year in 2010. Flores was voted team captain and selected for Daily Breeze All-Area and All-League.
Flores obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Marymount University in 2017 and his Masters of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Grand Canyon University in 2022.
