Bio
Grant Mayeaux joined the Warriors staff as an assistant in 2024. Mayeaux will primarily work with the outfielders and hitters and assist with recruiting.
Mayeaux spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons as an assistant coach at Cypress College. During his time at Cypress, he worked closely with infielders and hitters, helping to shape an offense that posted a .327 team batting average in 2024, following a .293 team average in 2023.
The Cypress College teams made it to the 3C2A Regionals in 2024 and Super Regionals in 2023. Mayeaux helped 29 players advance to the next level over two seasons. Notably, 15 of those players moved on to play at the NCAA Division I level.
Mayeaux is currently the Director of Baseball Operations for the Orange County Riptide in the California Collegiate League. He previously served as the head coach of the San Diego Sun Rays in the same league in 2024.
A Huntington Beach, Calif. native, Mayeaux played baseball at Marina High School (2010-2013) and Cypress College (2014-2015) before continuing his career at San Diego State University. At SDSU, he was part of Mountain West Championship teams in 2017 and 2018, contributing to regional appearances in both seasons.
