TORRANCE, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors baseball team once again rallied late for the second straight game to win the game 7-4 against LA Harbor and complete the series sweep.

The Warriors (18-17, 11-10 SCC) were trailing 4-0 heading into their final nine outs of the game.  The Warriors got one run back in the seventh inning before rallying for six runs in the eighth inning to take the lead over the Seahawks.  The Warriors once again were able to snatch victory late in the game after Lucas Bonham hit a go ahead homerun in the ninth inning in yesterday's 4-3 win at LA Harbor.

Ryan Matsukawa and Angel Gonzalez led the Warriors both with three hit games.  Connor Meidroth went 2-for-4 with 1 run and 3 RBIs.  Lucas Bonham was 2-for-5 with 1 RBI and Matt Hammmond was 2-for-4 with 1 run scored.

AJ Hiestand got the start for the Warriors and allowed four runs on eight hits, one walk, and struck out six batters.  Aaron Ragat picked up the win after tossing 2.2 scoreless innings of relief and struck out six batters.  The Warriors couldn't do damage on the Harbor's starter Alejandor Izquierda who tossed six scoreless frames.  However, the Warriors were able to tag the Seahawks reliever Sam Funk for seven hits on eight hits in two innings of work.

The Seahawks led 2-0 in the first inning after putting up four hits on Hiestand.  They added a run in the 4th and the 7th inning to take a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh.  The Warriors had previously stranded six runners on base through the first six innings.

Finally in the 7th inning after facing a new Seahawks pitcher the Warriors had runners on 1st and 2nd base.  Connor Meidroth brought in one run to make it a 4-1 game.

In the eighth inning, the Warriors sent 11 batters to the dish and scored six runs on six hits along with two hit batsmen.  Christian Miranda led the inning off with a double. Joey Replogle was hit by a pitch and Matt Hammond singled to load the bases to start the inning.  Angel Gonzalez brought in one run on a single to make it a 4-2 game.

Ryan Matsukawa, Connor Meidroth, and Lucas Bonham had three consecutive two out knocks which scored five more runs for the Warriors to flip the script and make it a 7-4 game in favor of El Camino.

Ragat tossed a 1-2-3 inning in the ninth to pick up his first win of the season and finish off the series sweep of LA Harbor.

The Warriors have a conference bye week next week and will travel up north to take on Sierra College on Thursday and Friday. Both games are slated for 1 PM starts.
