TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College scored three times in the bottom of the ninth inning to score a 5-4 South Coast Conference walk-off victory over visiting Pasadena on Tuesday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors trailed the Lancers from the third inning until the bottom of the ninth when ECC strung together four singles and a sacrifice fly to overcome a four-run deficit in the game.

Lucas Bonham led the team with three hits with Angel Gonzalez and Matt Chavez each recording two hits in the win.

In the ninth, Jack Nammack led off the frame with a single to right-center field to put the leadoff man on base with ECC down 4-2. After a strikeout, Ryan Matsukawa singled back up the middle to put the tying run on base and then Lucas Bonham singled to right to load the bases.

Joey Replogle then came through in the clutch, recording his only hit of the game with a single through the right side that scored Nammack and Matsukawa to tie things up at 4-4.

Chavez then greeted reliever Connor Campbell with a long flyout to center, deep enough for Bonham to score from third and snap the Warriors' six-game losing streak.

The Lancers scored the first four runs of the game with one in the third and three in the fifth but Gonzalez recorded a two-run double in the sixth to cut the Warriors' deficit in half before the team completed the comeback in the ninth.

Luke Elward scored the win in relief for ECC, tossing two innings of scoreless baseball.

The teams will meet again on Thursday at Pasadena for game two of the series with first pitch set for 2 p.m.
