TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 6-1 loss to Santa Ana on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors dropped their third straight game after managing just one run on three hits against Dons' pitching. Lucas Bonham was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Nate Torres was 1-for-2 after entering the game as a substitution.

The Warriors offense had no answer for Santa Ana starter Jaxton Andeel who tossed five no-hit innings and allowed one run with eight strikeouts and four walks. As a team, the Warriors struck out 15 times against Dons pitchers and the offense didn't get its first hit until the sixth inning when Bonham singled in Connor Meidroth from second base after the Warriors shortstop led off the inning with a walk and advanced to second on a wild pitch.

The Warriors will now focus on South Coast Conference play which is slated to begin Tuesday with the first of a three-game series against East Los Angeles. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at ELAC, weather permitting.
