TORRANCE, Calif. - Jaedeyn Edwards and Ethan Felix powered the Warriors over the Cerritos Falcons 6-2 at home in a comeback victory.

Ethan Felix hit two solo blasts to opposite sides of the field and Jaedeyn Edwards hit the go-ahead 2-run bomb in the seventh inning to give the Warriors the lead.

The Warriors (22-10, 12-4 SCC) scored first off Felix's first home run of the day in the second inning on an opposite field blast.  The Falcons (8-22, 4-12 SCC) went ahead in the top of the third by scoring two runs and led for most of the game.

The Warriors couldn't solve the Falcons starting pitcher Rene Galvan who went 6 innings and allowed just one run on three hits and struck out six.  He took a comebacker off his leg to start the sixth inning and managed to get out of the inning cleanly.

The Falcons went to the bullpen in the seventh inning and the Warriors were able to rattle off three hits in the inning.  Daniel Murillo led off the inning with a base hit but was wiped out on the bases on a double play in the next at-bat.  Juan Carlos Camerena had a base hit to left field and Jaedeyn Edwards hit his first home run of the season on a towering blast over the left field fence to put the Warriors on top 3-2.

The Warriors added three more runs in the eighth inning.  With two outs in the inning, Dylan Knowles drew a walk.  Ethan Felix hit his second home run of the day with a two-run bomb over the left center fence to put the Warriors up 5-2.  The Warriors loaded the bases and scored another run on a wild pitch to make it a 6-3 game before the inning ended.

Jack Snyder got the start and went six innings and allowed two runs on six hits, three walks, and three strikeouts.  Pierce Kingston picked up the win in relief after tossing three scoreless frames and allowing just two hits and striking out three.

The series heads to Cerritos next for a tilt at Kincaid Filed on Thursday, April 13th at 2:30 p.m.
