Alumni Update – Brady Earns All-Conference Nod at West Liberty University

Former El Camino College right-hander and current West Liberty University starting pitcher Ian Brady was named to the All-Mountain East Conference Team on May 12.

Brady was named to the All-MEC Second Team after a breakout season in his first campaign with the Hilltoppers. This season Brady led West Liberty with six victories on the mound and a 2.25 ERA, both marks ranking second in the conference. Brady also held opponents to a .244 batting average, a mark that ranked in the top-10 in the MEC.

The 6-foot-4 Torrance, Calif. native also racked up 37 strikeouts on the season while allowing 15 walks. He pitched 48 innings and allowed just 44 hits on the year.

Brady spent three seasons with the Warriors (2018-20) including a red-shirt year. He made four appearances and pitched five innings with seven strikeouts as a red-shirt freshman in 2019. The following year, Brady appeared in three games in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 campaign for the Warriors.
