TORRANCE, Calif. - No.6 El Camino College scored in all but two innings in a 13-2 win over Compton College on Thursday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (22-4, 10-3) took advantage of the misfiring Compton Tartars (5-21, 2-10) pitching staff as they walked 15 Warrior batters for the game and a defense that committed three errors.

Jimmy Galicia picked up his seventh win of the season after tossing seven innings giving up two unearned runs on three hits, one walk, and striking out eight batters.  Garrett Spicuzza pitched the final two innings giving up just one hit and striking out batters.

Joseph Borges led the offense with a 3-for-6 day with 4 runs scored and 2 RBIs.  Taishi Nakawake was the only other Warriors to record a multi-hit game. Aaron Orozco was 1-1 with 1 run scored, 4 RBIs, and walked three times with the bases loaded.  Ty Conrad was 1-for-4 with 1 run and 4 RBIs after launching a three-run home run over the left center fence in the third inning.

El Camino took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back for the rest of the game.  They had bases loaded with one out before Aaron Orozco walked for the first time to make it 1-0 and Ty Conrad hit a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0.

The Warriors added three runs in the third inning after a three-run homerun.  They added two runs in the fourth, one run in the fifth, one run in the 7th, and four runs in the eighth inning.

The Warriors have now clinched their fifth conference series in a row and look to go for the series sweep on Saturday, March 30th.  First pitch is set for 12:00 PM.
