El Camino College held an early lead but could not hold on as East Los Angeles completed the sweep of the Warriors with an 8-4 decision Thursday night at East Los Angeles College.
The Warriors (21-16, 10-9) jumped out to a 3-1 lead after two innings but the Huskies (22-15, 12-7) scored seven runs in three innings to pull away and record the victory.
Cody Wissler led the way for ECC with a 2-for-4 day at the plate with a double and two RBI. Jose Ruiz Jr. was 2-for-4 along with Matthew Beserra, who belted a solo home run in the loss.
The Warriors will close out the regular season with a three-game series against Compton College with game one of the series set for Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Warrior Field.
