TORRANCE, Calif. – Ricky Ramos picked up his fifth victory on the mound and Kenneth Haus earned the three-inning save as they combined to blank visiting Mount San Antonio 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (19-2, 6-0) picked up their 11th straight victory as they beat up Mounties (7-12, 1-5) pitching early, scoring eight runs in the span of three innings.

Ramos tossed six shutout innings, scattering five hits and walking two. He struck out five before giving way to Haus in the sixth, who shut down the Mounties for the final three frames. Haus allowed just one hit over three innings, walked one and struck out five en route to his second save of the season.

"Ramos and Haus were really good on the mound today," Warriors head coach Nate Fernley said. "Ramos battled through six and Haus really dominated the end of the game."

While the pitching was stellar, the bats were also working overtime on Tuesday as the Warriors pounded out eight hits including four extra-base hits en route to nine runs. Six different players recorded an RBI on Tuesday while the 6-7-8-9 hitters for ECC combined to go 6-for-13 with six runs scored and six RBI.

Noah Barba went 2-for-3 with a double, triple two runs scored and two RBI while Cody Wissler went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

The Warriors opened the scoring with a four-spot in the bottom of the second. The Warriors loaded the bases for Hunter Lewis, who wore a pitch from Mounties starter Christian Longoria to force in the first run of the game.

Wissler followed with a walk to force in a second run and then Trevor Casanova lifted a sacrifice fly to center field to make it 3-0 Warriors. Brady Dorn capped off the scoring with a fielder's choice grounder that drove in Lewis to make it 4-0.

In the third, Lewis smacked an RBI double to plate Barba and then Wissler singled in Lewis to put ECC up by six.

Barba then put an exclamation point on the Warriors three-inning blitz as he hit a two-run triple, scoring Ryan Eastburn and Angel Mora to make it 8-0.

The Warriors capped the scoring in the bottom of the eighth as Ty Conrad drove in Wissler with a sacrifice fly.

"We really applied pressure offensively all day," Fernley said. "It was a good team win."

ECC will look to make it 12 straight victories on Thursday night as they hit the road to take on East Los Angeles. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
