Beach Volleyball Drops Two at State Championships

SARATOGA, Calif. --- The El Camino College Beach Volleyball team dropped two matches at the 3C2A State Championships on Thursday at West Valley College.

The Warriors entered the competition as the No. 4 seed from the south and No. 3 in pool A, paired with Fresno City (North No. 2) and San Diego Mesa (South No. 1).

They opened the day against the Olympians, a rematch from their match back on Feb. 16 at ECC. Unfortunately for the Warriors, Thursday's match ended with the same score as the Olympians swept ECC 5-0.

The season then came to an end against Fresno as the Warriors fell 3-2 to the Rams in the next match.

Feather River would defeat Fresno, 3-1, in the finals to claim the 2024 3C2A State Championship.
