TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College scored two pivotal South Coast Conference wins on Friday as they downed Long Beach 3-2 and then followed that with a 5-0 sweep of College of the Desert at the ECC Sand Courts.

With the wins, the Warriors are now tied for second place in the conference with the Vikings with identical 5-2 records in SCC play. The two teams both trail first-place Mount San Antonio by one game in the standings.

All three teams will meet on the final day of the regular season on April 12 at Mt. SAC with the regular season title very likely on the line.

But before that happens, the Warriors will face Cerritos on April 5 back at the ECC Sand Courts at 10 a.m.
