Enriquez and Juarez Wrap up Season on Friday 

SARATOGA, Calif. - El Camino College's top pair of Diana Enriquez and Leafa Juarez saw their season come to an end on Friday at the 3C2A Beach Volleyball Pairs State Championships at West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif. 

The Warriors top team were slotted in as the No. 16 seed from the south and were paired in Pool 3 with the No. 3 and No. 11 seeds from the north along with the No. 6 seed from the south. They would finish the day 1-2 in pool play to finish third in the group. Only the top two teams advanced to the final 16 on Saturday. 

Enriquez and Juarez faced off against No. 6 Corinne Williams and Brisa Zapata-Reaves of Orange Coast College, falling 2-0 (21-14, 21-14).  

In their next match, the Warriors duo faced off against the top seed in the group, No. 3 Flor Porras and Kiana Manson of West Valley College. Once again, Juarez and Enriquez fell in straight sets; 21-19, 21-14. 

They finished off the afternoon with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-18) win over No. 11 Taylor Vales and Tristin Sahlie of West Valley.
