Bio

Abi Francisco was named the Senior Athletic Trainer in August 2022. She joined El Camino College as a part-time athletic trainer in the summer of 2016 and became a full-time athletic-trainer in July 2019. 

Born and raised in the South Bay, Francisco went to Palos Verdes Peninsula High School where she competed heavily in soccer. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training at San Diego State University and received her Board of Certification in 2014. She went on to complete her Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology at California Baptist University. 

Prior to joining ECC, Francisco worked as an athletic trainer for Compton College Athletics as well as Disneyland's performing arts and industrial setting in Anaheim.

In her spare time, Francisco enjoys cooking, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, and watching her favorite sports teams dominate most professional leagues (Lakers, Dodgers, Chargers). She currently resides in Long Beach, California.
