Four Warriors Given All-South Coast Honors

All-South Coast Conference Teams

TORRANCE, Calif - It was announced that four Warriors on the El Camino College women's water polo team were given All-South Coast Conference honors.  

The Warriors had one player named to the first team, two players named to the second team, and one honorable mention. 

Sonni Garcia was the only Warrior named to the All-South Coast Conference first team.  Garcia was named to the All-South Coast Conference first team for the second year in a row.  Garcia started in all 21 games and led the team with 55 goals. Garcia also tallied 18 assists, 27 field blocks, and 84 steals.  She was fourth in the state in steals.

Kat Reyes was named to the All-South Coast Conference second team.  Reyes started in every game and scored 21 goals. She also had 12 assists, 34 steals, and two field blocks.

Sophia Caravello was named to the All-South Coast Conference second team.  The freshman goalie started every game and made 205 saves for the season. She had a 51.5% save percentage.  She also scored four goals, tallied 10 assists, and 26 steals. Caravello was 12th in the state in saves.  

Alexa Modry was named an All-South Coast Conference honorable mention.   Modry started every game and scored 18 goals. She also tallied 14 assists, 43 steals, and 3 field blocks.
