Women’s Volleyball Wraps Season with Upset Win over Pasadena

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College pulled off a 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-19) upset over No. 17 Pasadena on Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors outhit the Lancers .248 to .159 on Friday to pull off the upset as Ryan D'Angelo led the way with 11 kills on 38 attempts with just four errors. Bridget Dorr recorded a double-double with 33 assists and 14 digs while Perla Lopez paced the defense with 16 digs in the victory.
The Warriors outlasted the Lancers 27-25 in the first set and that set the tone for the rest of the way as the Warriors finished off the sweep against Pasadena.
Aireon Scott added 10 kills and a team-high three blocks with Sophia Ortiz adding nine kills with just two errors. The victory was ECC's first win over a ranked team this season. It was also the fifth sweep for the Warriors on the year.
