El Camino Falls to East Los Angeles

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College was within striking distance with two doubles matches remaining but East Los Angeles pulled out a pair of victories to seal a 14-7 win over the Warriors Friday afternoon at the ECC North Gym.

The teams were tied at six matches apiece after the singles portion of the match but the Huskies were able to take four of the five doubles matches to score the win. The Warriors dropped to 1-3 on the season while the Huskies improved to 3-1 overall.

El Camino College will return to the courts on March 17 on the road at ECC Compton Center, a team the Warriors defeated 18-3 on Feb. 24.
