Galindo Named Second-Team Scholar All-American

2022 United Soccer Coaches JC Scholar All-America Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Sophomore Brandon Galindo was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches' Junior College Men's Scholar All-America Team, it was announced late Thursday.

Galindo earned a spot on the second team as he had a 3.91 GPA as a kinesiology major. He was one of four players from Southern California on the second team.

In 2022, Galindo played in 20 matches for the Warriors and made 19 starts. He was an anchor on the back line of the Warriors defense while also scoring one goal with five assists during the year. He recorded one game-winning goal.

In his Warriors career, Galindo played in 44 matches for the Warriors, making 43 starts. He scored two goals with nine assists.

As a freshman, he was named to the USC JC All-America First Team.
