Carlos Named Second-Team All American

2022 USC JC All-American Teams 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Sophomore Mario Carlos was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division III All-America Team, it was announced this week.

Carlos earned a spot on the second team after wrapping up his Warriors career with a magnificent season on the pitch.

A product of Narbonne High School, Carlos led the team with 16 goals and 10 assists as he played and started in 22 matches for the Warriors this year.

Carlos was second in Southern California and tied for sixth in the state in goals scored this year. He was seventh in SoCal and tied for 10th in the state in assists and he was second in SoCal and tied for sixth in the state in total points.

In his two years with the Warriors, Carlos played and started in 47 matches. He scored 32 total goals while dishing out 15 career assists for 79 total points in his career. He also tallied 10 game-winning goals in his career.

Among the 104 Junior College All-Americans (52 men, 52 women), two men and nine women earn All-America recognition for a second time in their college careers.

Players on this year's United Soccer Coaches Junior College All-America Teams will be recognized for their accomplishments at the All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
