TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College secured the No. 4 overall seed in the California Community College Athletics Association Men's Soccer Southern California Regionals and will get a first-round bye in the upcoming playoffs.

The Warriors will host the winner of No. 13 Irvine Valley and No. 20 Antelope Valley on Saturday night at Murdock Stadium with a 6 p.m. kickoff. The Lasers and Marauders will play today in the first round of the CCCAA SoCal Regionals.

This season, the Warriors finished the year with a 16-2-2 overall record and had the second-best record in the South Coast Conference behind No. 1 overall seed Cerritos.

The Warriors have now qualified for the CCCAA SoCal Regionals in three straight seasons and have secured a top-4 seed each time. Last year, the Warriors advanced to the CCCAA State Championship Semifinals for the first time since 1992, the last time ECC won a state title.

Over the last four seasons under Mike Jacobson, the Warriors have posted a record of 56-17-14 and have posted double-digit wins in the last three seasons.
