LONG BEACH, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors men's soccer team defeated Long Beach City College 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Warriors (13-2-1, 4-2-1 SCC) scored a goal in each half in the shutout victory over the Vikings (6-3-6, 3-2-2). The Warriors outshot the Vikings 13-6 in the match with both sides having three shots on goal.
Brian Park opened the scoring for the Warriors in the 12th minute of the game. Mario Carlos added the second goal in the 48th minute. Carlos has scored a goal in his last four games and has six goals in that four-game streak.
Luis Garibay made three saves and picked up his sixth clean sheet of the season.
The Warriors will host their final home game of the regular season on Friday, October 29th against Los Angeles City College. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
