Andy Cabrera Named National JUCO Soccer Player of the Week

United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week Announcement - October 6th

TORRANCE, Calif. - It was announced on Wednesday that freshman forward Andy Cabrera has been named the United Soccer Coaches national junior college player of the week.  This is first player of the week award for the Warriors since November 5th, 2019 when Melvyn Perez-Cortez was named player of the week.  

Cabrera was honored for his excellent week against Bakersfield and Citrus. Against the Renegades, Cabrera scored both goals of the game. Against Citrus College, Cabrera picked up assists on both goals.

Cabrera leads the Warriors with 19 points on the season. He has scored seven goals and has five assists. Three of his goals have been game-winning goals.

The Warriors will face Rio Honodo College in their next game on Friday, October 8th.  Kick-off is set for 2:00 PM.
