The El Camino College men's soccer team undefeated start to the season has gained them national recognition as they were ranked No.5 in the latest United Soccer Coaches NJCAA DIII's poll.  After not playing during the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Warriors are right back in the mix of things in the Division III Junior College Rankings.  They were also ranked No.3 in the state and No.1 overall in Southern California in the CCCSIA rankings last week.

Of the the 10 teams ranked, there are five schools from the CCCAA.  Folsom Lake is the highest ranked CCCAA team at the No.3 spot while El Camino is above No.7 Hartnell, No.9 Mt. Sac, and No.10 American River College.  South Coast Conference foes Mt. Sac are the only other team from Southern California in the rankings.

The Warriors are off to a perfect 4-0 start to the season and trying to match their 2019 pace where they started the season 8-0-1.  They have outscored their opponents 13-4 so far to the season.  Mario Carlos leads the team overall with 9 points off four goals and one assist. Andy Cabrera is second with 8 points with four goals. Luis Garibay is 4-0 with seven saves, two clean sheets, and a 1.00 goals allowed average.

The Warriors are away from home for their next two games as they take on San Diego Mesa on September 14th and Glendale College on September 21st.
