TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College had a chance to pull off the upset against No. 6 L.A. Harbor on Wednesday night but could not get over the hump in a 77-74 South Coast Conference-South Division loss at the ECC Gym Complex.

The Warriors (13-14, 2-7) had the ball with 20 seconds left in regulation trailing by a point but Gabe Hubbard turned the ball over with three seconds left. After two free throws, the Warriors still had one last chance and had a good look at a 3-pointer but Miguel Javier's shot clanked off the rim, sealing the win for the Seahawks (23-4, 8-1).

Hubbard would lead the Warriors with 25 points, seven rebounds and three steals on 11-of-16 shooting. Elliot Kerley and Billy Ray Barnes III each added 12 points in the loss.

For the Seahawks, Demetrious Douglas led the way with 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists with Vincent Rodriguez adding 17 and three assists. The victory also clinched the SCC-South Division title for the Seahawks.

The Warriors will close out the 2022-23 regular season on Friday night at Cerritos.
