TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino College led Cerritos for the first 10 minutes of the game before the Falcons soared away for a 91-62 victory at the ECC Gym Complex on Wednesday night.
The Warriors (5-16, 0-3) led the Falcons (14-7, 3-0) for 10 minutes and 50 seconds before Dorian Harris scored a basket that pulled Cerritos ahead 19-17. At the end of the first half, Cerritos led the Warriors by 34-24.
Cerritos pulled away in the second half and outscored the Warriors 54-38.
The Warriors shot 42.9% from the field. The Falcons shot 56.7% from the field.
Jamal Howard led all scorers with 21 points on 8-17 shooting. Jason Vasquez had 18 points. The Falcons had four players with double-digit scoring with Daelyn Bams and Cerroy Chenault leading the team.
The Warriors will head to LA Southwest for their next game on Friday, January 31st. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
