TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped the final game of the regular season, 3-1, to Mount San Antonio on Friday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (21-19, 12-12) will now await to find out their postseason fate as pairings will be announced this weekend. They finished fifth overall in the South Coast Conference standings, one game back of Pasadena. The Mounties (27-13, 16-8) finished tied for second in the SCC with Long Beach, who both trailed conference-champion Cerritos by three games.

On Friday, the Warriors got two hits from Ryan Matsukawa and a solo home run from Eric Perez for the team's only run of the game. The offense got plenty of runners on base but struggled to cash them in as the team went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

The one hit was a one-out single through the right side by Lucas Bonham in the third inning that did not bring in a run. Overall, the Warriors stranded 12 runners on base in the game.

Meanwhile, the Mounties jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as Blake Hagerty hit a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the first inning that held up for the rest of the game. He finished the game going 3-for-4 to lead their offense.

A.J. Hiestand had a solid outing on the mound for the Warriors despite taking the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits in seven innings pitched. He struck out one. Aaron Ragat tossed the final two innings in relief and recorded four strikeouts.
