TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College completed a three-game South Coast Conference sweep over Cerritos with a 17-5 victory on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (24-10, 14-4) have now won 12 of their last 13 conference games and recorded their third SCC sweep of the season with Saturday's victory over the Falcons (8-25, 4-14).

For the Warriors, eight of the nine starters in the lineup recorded at least one hit with seven of them recording a multi-hit game. Ethan Felix and Dylan Knowles led the offense with three hits apiece and Jaedeyn Edwards recorded his second home run of the series en route to a 2-for-5 day with two RBI and a run scored. Felix recorded four RBI with Elijah Tolsma and Juan Carlos Camarena each driving in three in what turned into a laugher for the Warriors.

The game started out with both offenses teeing off on the starting pitchers. By the end of the top of the third inning, the Warriors held a slim 6-5 lead with the teams combining for 11 hits to go with their 11 runs. The two starters also combined to walk seven batters.

But in the bottom of the third, the Warriors scored four more runs to take a 10-5 lead and the Falcons never scored again as the Warriors' bullpen held Cerritos scoreless for the last six and 1/3 innings, scattering five hits and striking out five with just one walk the rest of the way.

Jason Davis secured the win as he tossed two and 1/3 innings of relief, allowing just one hit and one walk to go with three strikeouts. Travis Connelly, Jake Stolnack and Anthony Joya also put in work out of the pen to secure the win.

Saturday's game also marked the 11th time the Warriors have scored double digits in a game and the sixth time they've scored 15 or more runs in a game. They are undefeated this season in each circumstance.

The Warriors currently sit in first place in the conference, up by a half game on Rio Hondo which sits at 13-4 with a make-up game against Cerritos set for Monday in Norwalk.

The Warriors' next opponent will be Long Beach, which sits in a tie for third place in the SCC with a 12-6 mark. Game one of the series takes place on Tuesday at LBCC with the Warriors hosting on Thursday.
