Learning Resources Center (LRC)

Tutorial Program

Located in the library, 2nd Floor, West Wing

El Camino tutors help students prepare for tests, improve study techniques, and answer questions about assignments. All LRC tutors receive training and are certified by the College Reading and Learning Association. Tutoring for more than twenty-five different subjects is free for all El Camino students. 

Athletic Academic Achievement (AAA) Program

Specifically designed for student-athletes, El Camino College provides additional support in the Learning Resource Center specifically for student-athletes. The athletic department has allocated 30+ hours a week of supervision to allow student-athletes to seek any extra assistance needed. Also, the AAA program monitors and tracks the student-athletes hours so coaches can confirm that the student-athletes are meeting their academic obligations.
