Women’s Water Polo Notches Four All-Conference Selections

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College had four players selected to the 2021 All-South Coast Conference Team.

Sophia Caravello and Bridget Lee were each named to the All-SCC First Team while Brittany Sanchez and Melissa Brill made the All-SCC Second Team.

Caravello capped off her Warriors career in 2021 with 22 starts in net along with a few appearances as a field player. She made 254 saves and posted a .600 save percentage. She racked up 10 victories and also dished out 11 assists, snagged 21 steals and scored a goal this year.

Lee was the Warriors top scorer swith 67 goals on the year and a .435 shooting percentage. She played and started in 21 games and added 12 assists, 28 steals and five field blocks.

Sanchez led the Warriors with 29 assists while also scoring 21 goals this season. She was third on the team with 34 steals and added four field blocks.

Brill was the team's second leading scorer in 2021 as she tallied 42 goals and added 24 assists. She had a .331 shooting percentage and led the Warriors with 50 steals. Her 10 field blocks were also second on the team.

The Warriors finished the 2021 season with a 10-12 overall record and 4-6 mark in conference play. The 10 victories marked the first time the Warriors recorded double-digit wins in a season since the 2012 season when the team went 15-11 overall.
