Clark, Donatucci Earn Top Honors as All-Conference Teams Announced

2019 All-South Coast Conference Team

Sophomores Mikayla Clark and Kelly Donatucci earned top honors as six players were named to the 2019 All-South Coast Conference Team, it was announced Monday.

Clark was named the MVP of the SCC while Donatucci was named the Libero of the Year for the second consecutive season. Teddi Esko of Rio Hondo was named the SCC Coach of the Year.

Clark currently leads the team with 449 kills in 26 matches, a mark which ranks third in the state. She's averaging 4.68 kills per set while also adding 285 digs on the year with a 2.97 digs per set average. Clark tallied 16 double-doubles during the regular season including two 20-20 games for the Warriors. She's recorded 20-plus kills in a match five times this year.

Donatucci has accumulated 536 digs in 26 matches so far this season. She ranks third in Southern California and sixth in the state in digs. She has averaged 5.58 digs per set and has had three matches with 30-plus digs to date. She has also posted at least 20 digs 13 times on the year.

Joining the Warriors stalwarts on the all-conference team were Caitlin Donatucci (First Team), Ginia Goods (First Team), Kayla Conley (Second Team), and Jocelyn Lacroix (Second Team).

Caitlin Donatucci led the SCC with 10.2 assists per game. She's accumulated 976 assists on the year to date to go along with 93 digs and 44 service aces.

Goods has played in all 26 matches for the Warriors and leads the team with 48 total blocks. She is also currently third on the team with 169 total kills.

Conley has played in 21 matches and is fourth on the team with 122 kills and 39 blocks. Lacroix is second on the team with 233 kills and a 2.51 per set average to go along with 22 blocks.

The Warriors finished the year as SCC Champions and secured the No. 4 seed in the 2019 CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs. They host No. 13 Fullerton on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the ECC South Gym.
