Long Beach, Calif. - Freshman Kayla Sanchez scored both goals for the Warriors (6-0-3, 1-0-1), including the game-tying score in the 89th minute, as the women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 tie with Long Beach (6-2-2, 1-0-1) on Friday afternoon.
Sanchez scored just 20 seconds in before Long Beach's Julianna Carrillo counted a pair of goals, one in each half. But with time expiring, Sanchez counted her second goal, unassisted, to preserve an undefeated record for the Warriors.
The women's soccer team will face LA Harbor next at home on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m.
