El Camino College finished off the calendar year with a 62-58 non-conference victory over Glendale Saturday night at Glendale College.

Salihah Bey led the way for the Warriors with 20 points and five rebounds in the victory. Jordan Hixon and Ashley Nguyen each led the team with six rebounds.

For the Vaqueros, Sylvia Vartazarian scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while Tess Oakley-Stilson added 14 points.

The game was tied five times and the lead traded hands on four occasions. Neither team ever led by double-digits in the contest with the Warriors outshooting Glendale 46.8 percent to 41.7 percent.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday with their first home game of the season against L.A. Valley at 6 p.m. in the SoCal Crossover Touranment.
