Badminton Dominated East Los Angeles

El Camino College recorded its most dominant victory over East Los Angeles in some time with an 18-3 victory over the Huskies Friday afternoon at the ECC South Gym.

The Warriors clinched second place in the conference with the victory on Friday, spurred on by the team of Maddie Simones and Kaelyn Kaemerle.

The duo, who had been the No. 3 doubles team most of the year, were moved up to the No. 2 spot on Friday and proceeded to win both of their doubles matches.

With the win, the Warriors finished off their regular season home schedule with a 3-1 record at the ECC North Gym. They will close out the regular season on the road with a doubleheader against first-place Pasadena on Friday.
