Warriors Hot Start Continues with Road Win at East Los Angeles

El Camino College remained undefeated to start the season as the Warriors scored a 12-9 road victory over East Los Angeles Friday afternoon.

The Warriors and Huskies had to settle their match in the doubles portion of the contest and the team of Ivygale Tolentino and Samoeon Kong scored the decisive win in their match, winning in three sets. They secured the final set in dominating fashion with a 21-7 result.

Along with the doubles win, Kong also scored a win in her singles match to finish the day unbeaten. Kalyn Kaemerle and Maddy Simones also scored singles win and won their No. 3 doubles match to help the Warriors score the victory.

The Warriors return to action on Wednesday as they host Compton at the ECC North Gym.
