Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo): Cross Country: Helped the team to its 12th Big West Conference title with a 10th-place finish at 25:35 ... opened the season with a fourth-place time of 25:16 at the Lagoon Open hosted by UC Santa Barbara, followed by a 23rd-place finish (at 25:31) at the Pac-12 Preview ... posted a 24:55 (for 19th) at the Stanford Invitational ... rounded out the season with a 17th-place 30:10 at the NCAA West Regional.

2011-12 -- Track: Ran a team-best 14:17.25 in the 5,000 on April 6 at the Stanford Invitational ... was second on the team in the 1,500, with a time of 3:47.55 on March 24 at the Cal Poly Invitational.

Cross Country: Advanced to the NCAA Championships, finishing 94th at 30:58, as the team finished 28th ... was fourth at the Big West Championships, in 23:58, and 19th at the NCAA West Regional, in 29:56 ... at the Santa Clara Invitational, was fourth, in 23:53.

El Camino College -- Won four state titles in the 1,500 meters (2011), 5,000 meters (2010 and 2011) and in cross country (2011). He was runner-up in the 2010 CCCAA cross country state championships and 1500m ... he broke 30-year-old ECC school-records in the 1500 meters (3:47.52) and 5,000 meters (14:13.07). 2010-2011 ECC Male Athlete-of-the-Year.

Prep -- At North Torrance High School, his PR in the 1,600 was 4:09.90.

Personal - David earned his Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly SLO in Criminal Justice and plans on pursuing a career in Administration of Justice.
