Brill Headlines Warriors Swimmers at CCCAA State Championships

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. --- Freshman Melissa Brill highlighted El Camino College's participation in the 2022 California Community College Swim and Dive State Championships held at East Los Angeles College from May 5-7.

Brill finished sixth overall in the 1650-yard freestyle event finals on Saturday afternoon as she posted a time of 19:05.07. The mark placed her No. 7 on the ECC All-Time Record Book in the event.

Overall, the women finished in 34th place with 14 points overall while the men placed 32nd with nine points.

Tyler Trejo represented the Warriors on the men's side as he competed in both diving competitions at state. His results are below:
